Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This Policy explains how Zombie Couple Video (“we” or “us”) handles personal information when you visit the website, use the generator, purchase credits or contact support. Our Terms of Service set out adult-consent, copyright and acceptable-use requirements. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@zombie-couplevideo.com.
1. Information we process
- Account information: your email address, profile details, authentication and verification records, and information supplied by a sign-in provider such as Google when you use it.
- Uploaded media and results: the two portraits you submit, generated videos, selected template, media properties and the permissions you confirm.
- Face-processing information: facial features and numerical face representations extracted during AI processing to match each portrait to the intended role in the template.
- Task and billing records: generation IDs, job status, settings, credit usage and reversals, purchase and subscription references, payment status and related transaction records.
- Technical and visit information: IP addresses or derived network identifiers, browser and device information, security and error records, referring pages, landing URLs and campaign or affiliate attribution where enabled.
- Support and safety records: messages you send, relevant content and evidence associated with moderation, complaints, appeals, fraud checks or legal requests.
2. How your portraits become a video
Selecting a photo creates a local browser preview. The generator does not upload those selected portraits until you submit a generation request. Refreshing or closing the page clears that local selection; it does not cancel an already submitted task or delete copies already held on servers.
After submission, the photos are placed in private processing storage and made available to the generation worker using limited-duration access links. The AI workflow detects faces and uses temporary face representations to distinguish the survivor and zombie-partner roles and replace faces in your chosen template. This is likeness matching for the requested video, not an identity-verification service.
Face representations may qualify as biometric or other sensitive personal information under some laws. Only submit portraits of adults who have explicitly agreed to this processing and the intended use of the video. Permission to use a photograph and permission to process the depicted person's face are separate requirements. If you do not agree to this processing, do not submit portraits.
3. Why we use information
- Authenticate accounts, run your chosen generation task, save and deliver results, and manage credits.
- Process purchases and subscriptions, reconcile payment events, resolve billing issues and maintain transaction records.
- Respond to support, privacy, copyright and likeness requests.
- Operate, troubleshoot and secure the Service; prevent fraud and investigate prohibited content or other abuse.
- Understand visit sources and administer referral or affiliate attribution according to the available privacy controls.
- Comply with legal obligations and preserve records needed to establish, exercise or defend claims.
Where a legal basis is required, processing may rely on providing the service you request, your consent, applicable legal obligations or legitimate interests such as service security and resolving disputes, subject to applicable law. We do not obtain permission through these Terms to publish your portraits or personalized videos as marketing or public examples; that requires separate permission.
4. Service providers and disclosures
Providing the Service involves external infrastructure and processors. The information disclosed depends on the task or feature you use:
- Cloudflare: website delivery, application infrastructure, private media storage, database operations and security services. These systems handle information needed to operate the site and store task media and records.
- RunPod: computing infrastructure for the face-replacement worker. The processing workflow accesses the submitted portraits and selected template and returns the generated result.
- Stripe: payment and subscription processing. Payment details are entered through Stripe's payment interface; we receive transaction references, billing status and related information rather than your full card number or card security code.
- Google Analytics: after you choose Accept in Cookie preferences, we load Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits and use of the website. Google processes visit, browser and device information and analytics cookie identifiers. We do not send your uploaded portraits or generated videos as analytics events. Google's Privacy Policy explains its processing.
- Authentication, email and moderation providers: information needed for the sign-in or email feature you use, or material submitted for safety review. The separate moderation workflow uses SeeAPI and may send review text, media access links and associated task information when invoked.
We may also disclose relevant information to authorized support or safety reviewers, to comply with lawful requests, to address rights complaints or protect people and the Service, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable protections. Personalized media is not made into a public gallery simply because you generate it. If you download and share a video elsewhere, that platform's practices apply to the copy you share.
Providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their independent account, security or legal processing is described in their own notices. For more information, see the privacy notices for Cloudflare, RunPod and Stripe. We do not promise that every provider deletes every copy at the same time as our application.
5. Retention: previews, photos, videos and evidence
- Local previews: selected-photo previews are held in the browser until you replace or remove them, refresh, or close the page. Clearing them does not affect a submitted task.
- Processing photos and temporary face data: the worker uses temporary files and face representations while processing. Our application triggers input-photo cleanup when a generation task completes or fails. Interrupted tasks, unconfirmed submissions, storage failures or delayed status reconciliation can delay cleanup. This is not a promise of immediate deletion or a fixed maximum retention period.
- Finished videos: generated results are stored privately for access and download through the Service. They do not disappear when the browser closes. Contact support to request removal; we do not promise permanent storage or a currently available self-service deletion control.
- Separate moderation evidence: content entering that workflow, including media copies, review reports, rule snapshots and audit records, is retained for 365 days by default. Configured retention for new cases can be longer. An investigation or legal hold suspends automatic deletion; clearing the hold restores the original expiry schedule. This is separate from ordinary generation-input cleanup and does not mean every uploaded photo is automatically archived for review.
- Account, transaction, security and support records: these are kept for as long as needed for their purpose, including billing, fraud prevention, complaint handling and legal obligations. Deleting a media file does not necessarily delete the related transaction or audit record.
A removal request may be subject to necessary legal, security, dispute or evidence-retention exceptions. Copies held by infrastructure providers or in backups, if any, may follow different deletion schedules. We cannot remove downloaded copies held by you or videos you have shared on other platforms.
6. Cookies and attribution choices
We use cookies or similar storage for sign-in sessions, security, preferences and service operation. The site also records basic visit-source information and, where applicable, campaign and affiliate attribution. Source attribution starts by default on a first visit, unless an existing Essential only choice is recognized. You can stop optional tracking by choosing Essential only.
Choosing Essential only stops further optional source tracking and clears applicable source cookies that are not locked to an account. Existing visit records, locked referral relationships and necessary financial or security records may remain for the purposes described above. Choosing Accept permits the available optional attribution. The cookie-choice record lasts up to 180 days, the visit-source cookie lasts up to one year, and promotional attribution uses a 30-day window where applicable.
Google Analytics loads only after you choose Accept, including when that choice is remembered on a later visit. It is not loaded on an initial visit without consent or when Essential only is selected. Changing your choice to Essential only disables further Google Analytics collection on this page and future visits; it does not delete information already collected by Google. Analytics cookies can remain until they expire or you clear them in your browser. Google advertising storage and personalization remain disabled in our tag configuration.
Use Cookie preferences where available to revisit your choice, or adjust cookies in your browser. Blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in or other features from working. Your browser controls do not by themselves delete account, billing or server-side media records.
7. Privacy and deletion requests
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, obtain a copy of, delete or restrict the processing of personal information, object to certain processing, withdraw consent or complain to a relevant data-protection authority. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing already lawfully performed.
Email support@zombie-couplevideo.com with your request and, if available, the account email and generation ID needed to locate the relevant material. A person whose face appears in a video can also contact us directly about unauthorized use. We may ask for proportionate verification or authority to act, but do not send passwords or full payment-card details.
We will assess requests under applicable law and explain relevant retention exceptions. We do not offer a guaranteed instant deletion deadline through this Policy. If you also posted a video elsewhere, request removal from that platform separately.
8. Security and access
We use safeguards such as private media storage, limited-duration processing links and access checks for video delivery. Access needed for support, security or review is distinct from public sharing. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute protection. Keep your account credentials private and contact support if you suspect unauthorized access to your account or media.
9. Adults only and unauthorized images
The Service is intended for people aged 18 and older, and portraits must depict consenting adults. Do not submit children's images or prohibited sexual, violent or abusive material. If you believe a minor's information or an unauthorized portrait has been submitted, contact us with enough detail to locate the task without attaching illegal content. We will investigate and address the material, subject to any preservation obligations.
10. Policy changes and contact
We will update the date above when this Policy changes and provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by applicable law. A policy update alone does not provide separate permission to use your portraits in public marketing. Send privacy, deletion, likeness and data-handling questions to support@zombie-couplevideo.com.
